RTTS 2013 - THE FINAL CHAPTER. 24th - 27th MAY. COME UNITE FOR THE LAST EVER RTTS
What you need, where you need it.
Everything's either on site or very close by:
Toilets: Plenty to be found around the Trevelgue site, all of them regularly maintained to the highest standards. Drinking water is also available at various points.
Showers: They're hot and just the job, whether you've been all night in an arena, all day in the sea or just need to freshen yourself up.
Medics: First aid cover is provided by a duty nurse in the main reception. Paramedic cover is also provided by the West Country Ambulance Service, also just inside the main reception. The RttS security team have first aid facilities, too, and they can radio festival HQ for assistance.
Telephones: There are public payphones in case phoning home seems like a good idea (or in case you can't charge your mobile and you need the RAC...)
The Surf and Hire shop: You might want to chuck yourself at the sea, or just look like the kind of person who might. Whichever it is, you're going to need the gear to look the part...
On-site Shop/Off Licence: Our shop's open 24-hours during the festival; you'll find all the essentials for surviving a weekend at RttS.
Main reception: Open round the clock for caravan arrivals and departures, first aid, lost property and general information.
The Arenas: As described here in detail (and the bar in the main arena's one of the longest in Cornwall...)
Bus and Taxi service: A2B Buses operate a regular service from the Trevelgue site to Newquay town centre. There's also a 24-hour taxi service from our own taxi rank near the gates.
Security: A dedicated team of security staff, on hand 24 hours.
Samaritans: A team of volunteers from the Samaritans Festival Branch will be on hand round-the-clock to listen and provide emotional support to anyone in distress during the festival.
Café/take away: Both are open 24 hours serving breakfasts, snacks and evening meals. In addition there are a number of food outlets situated in the trading area selling a variety of culinary delights.
Amusement centre: Housing the latest range of interactive video games, fruit machines and pool tables.
